seasons greetings

Tis the season... for colds and flu, snow and ice. And some days? We get hit with all four. That was my yesterday.  I've had a nasty cold for a few days already, even losing my voice completely at one point & yesterday morning I knew I wasn't going anywhere.  So Tech Guy bundled up the kiddos and headed to church... only to step inside the door and have Noodle puke on the foyer floor. Needless to say, they turned around and came back home!  The roads were pretty bad as well... it snowed through the night and day and with the freezing rain from 2 days earlier underneath that? Yeah, pretty bad.  We live on the side of a hill and we actually had to back all the way down the hill before we could get any forward motion!  Then Tech Guy's department was called to an MVI (motor vehicle incident) where they had to do a total extrication so he was gone for most of the afternoon.  It happens every year, the first major snow of the year, the Fire Department is pretty busy.  Praying for the safety of those out on the roads...
