My boys love to cook. They love playing with toy kitchens, they love hovering in the kitchen at mealtime, they love playing with play dough. I have dreamed of buying them an awesome kitchen like this one or this one, but somehow I can’t justify paying the hefty price for something they will use only for a few short years. Today I stumbled upon a great idea which would cost me, oh, maybe $10 total and they would enjoy just as much. The thing to remember with kids is, keep it simple (and cheap!) because they tire of things so quickly! Here’s the inspiring site I found, and this is the great idea… What do you think?
Great site with a lot of neat things for kids.
ReplyDeleteThe Fisher Price kitchen we bought at a yard sale so many years ago was the best investment we ever made! PS: I'm having another Pop'rs Giveaway, and I KNOW you want to enter!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a GREAT idea! I always prefer to make something rather than buy it anyway....
ReplyDeleteHey, I tagged you in the "sixth picture meme" on my blog. Hope you'll play along!
It is a cute idea and I'll have to share it with my friends. Thankfully a friend gave us a plastic Dora the Explorer one so until my kid breaks that one I think we are good on the toy kitchen front for a while.
