Fall has arrived… the vampire frost has bitten my flowers and drained the life out of them… the colors are slowing changing from green & gold to gold & brown. The heat is on throughout the day and the light outside is dimmer every morning when I open my eyes. Today Noodle and I bundled up and took a walk outside in the crisp air. I was so happy to dig out my short black pea coat and colorful scarf… I just love scarves and sweaters and I am so digging this season!
Our mornings have been starting out in the 40's, then warming up to the 60's. Still very reasonable weather for October - I'm glad! I'll have to get myself a colorful scarf. I think the only one I have right now is black.
ReplyDeleteLove the new look (sorry if you've had it forever, I'm a bit behind in my blogs what with the baby...)
ReplyDeleteooh I just gasped!
ReplyDeleteI'm SO getting a pea coat this year -- last year I wore my broken green coat because the zipper was broken and I couldn't do it up over my belly anyhow!
i just have to say this... I live in South East Texas and yesterday it was over 90F degrees out. The summers get well over 100F, and even though it is "offically" fall right now it won't get cool until late November/ early December and it won't get "cold" (under 40 degrees F)until January.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for it to cool down a bit so i can open my windows and let in some fresh air!
Love the peacoat too... i have one, but don't get to wear it much!
