Today was awesome, incredible, inspired, blessed. There aren’t really words for what was today…
I prayed for something from God today… It was the first Sunday in 4 weeks that I actually got to partake of the service and I was so desperate for Him. The last time I went, something was off, my whole attitude the whole morning was definitely not in line with worship and I got nothing out of the service. And exactly that day Pastor Dan chose to preach about how our hearts need to be prepared in order to worship.
So today on the long drive in with the boys (hubs was on the worship team so he’d left earlier), I prayed that my heart would be open and that I could see and feel the beauty of God this morning. Song after song played as we drove, inspiring me and bringing the tears. And the words that spoke the loudest:

I felt so honoured, yet so humbled that God cares enough to answer those feeble human prayers… He knows how much it means to me to have my spirit moved, touched by his love and grace… how cleansing that emotional connection is…
Today was perfect.
Worship was beautiful. I felt happy & alive and just so thankful. My cup overflowed… I greeted friends, old and new, feeling oh so blessed. Then we had lunch at the house of new friends that are already “family” and I don’t know why God bestowed so much on us… but I’m so grateful.
Today was SANCTIFIED.

That's beautiful Margi, the words of that song have been powerful in my life as well. I have wondered at times why God does answer my feeble prayers....and then I think that possibly my heart is the most open to hear from Him when I am feeling feeble. May you continue to see God's blessings around you throughout this week :)

Wow, that was beautiful! May you always be open to the light and love of God <3 He shows up when we need him that is for sure! Not always so obviously, though He is always there... Look around at the beauty, the trees, the sky, the earth, our children, breathe it all in... He is everywhere :D
That song always makes me feel that way... I love it... and I love days like that too ...
